Our story

A luxury textile house specializing in wearable silk art.

FERNAA is a premium contemporary womenswear and children's lifestyle brand that transforms Sri Lanka's batik craftsmanship into sophisticated modern luxury.

Designed and manufactured in Sri Lanka, we work with an independent artisan textile atelier led by a master batik designer. Every textile is individually hand-crafted using traditional wax-resist techniques before being transformed into contemporary silhouettes in silk and natural fibres.

Rather than producing seasonal fast fashion, we create timeless collections that celebrate craftsmanship, refined construction and understated elegance. Positioned within accessible luxury, FERNAA offers an authentic alternative to conventional resortwear through premium materials and distinctive textile artistry.

Our textiles are produced within independent artisan ateliers in Sri Lanka. Working alongside a close-knit team of skilled craftspeople, every textile is individually designed, waxed, dyed and finished under artistic supervision. This preserves creative integrity while allowing us to produce limited collections without compromising craftsmanship.

The women's collection is built around the signature silk batik kaftan — a garment that moves with grace, travels effortlessly and transcends occasion. The children's line, for ages 3 to 14, is built on the belief that quality and beauty belong at every age, in breathable organic cotton and fine linen.
